L-edizzjoni tal-2025-2026 se tissawwar permezz ta’ qafas kunċettwali bit-titolu FEĠĠ x Arti Assemblies of Becoming: Soft Infrastructures.
Din se tistieden artisti emerġenti jesploraw l-idea ta’ infrastrutturi immaterjali: l-istrutturi informali, fraġli jew inviżibbli li jsostnuna. Dawn jistgħu jkunu emozzjonali, diġitali, soċjali, ekoloġiċi jew immaġinati. Jistgħu jfeġġu fir-ritwali ta’ kuljum tagħna, fin-nies jew fil-prattiki li jagħmlulna l-ispazju biex nikbru, f’azzjonijiet ta’ smigħ, kollaborazzjoni, manutenzjoni jew reżistenza.

Ingħaqdu magħna għall-avveniment ta’ għeluq ta’ Assemblies of Becoming, li se jgħaqqad prestazzjoni, poeżija, konverżazzjoni u riflessjoni.
Il-programm se jinkludi intervent performattiv ibbażat fuq il-ħoss minn Rachelle Bezzina, li joħroġ minn ġewwa l-installazzjoni nnifisha u jesplora d-djalogu bejn materjali domestiċi u industrijali permezz ta’ proċess miftuħ ta’ smigħ, esperimentazzjoni u reazzjoni. Billi tibni fuq tradizzjonijiet soniċi u ħsejjes ta’ kuljum, il-prestazzjoni tattiva l-memorji u r-relazzjonijiet inkorporati fix-xogħol.
L-avveniment se jinkludi wkoll qari minn Alex Weenink minn The Ritual of Empty Cups, li jibda bil-poeżija li tat bidu għar-ritwal u jintemm b’test ġdid żviluppat permezz tal-kontributi miġbura mingħand il-viżitaturi tul il-wirja.
Il-viżitaturi huma mistiedna jingħaqdu ma’ tour kuratorjali mmexxi minn Elyse Tonna flimkien mal-artisti parteċipanti, li se jintroduċu x-xogħlijiet tagħhom u jirriflettu fuq l-impenn tagħhom mat-temi tal-wirja.

The 2025–2026 edition would be shaped by a conceptual framework currently titled FEĠĠ x ARTI Assemblies of Becoming: Soft Infrastructures.
It will invite emerging artists to explore the idea of soft infrastructures: the informal, fragile or invisible structures that sustain us. These might be emotional, digital, social, ecological or imagined. They might show up in our daily rituals, in the people or practices that make space for us to grow, in acts of listening, collaboration, maintenance or resistance.

Join us for the closing event of Assemblies of Becoming, bringing together performance, poetry, conversation, and reflection.
The programme will feature a sound-based performative intervention by Rachelle Bezzina that emerges from within the installation itself, exploring the dialogue between domestic and industrial materials through an open process of listening, experimentation, and response. Drawing on sonic traditions and everyday sounds, the performance activates the memories and relationships embedded in the work.
The event will also include a reading by Alex Weenink from The Ritual of Empty Cups, beginning with the poem that initiated the ritual and concluding with a newly developed text shaped by contributions gathered from visitors throughout the exhibition.
Visitors are invited to join a curatorial tour led by Elyse Tonna, alongside the participating artists, who will introduce their works and reflect on their engagement with the exhibition’s themes.
