Vanishing Perspectives tippreżenta l-viżjoni impressjonanti li għandu Carmel Said tas-soċjetà kontemporanja f’mument ta’ inċertezza morali, kulturali u eżistenzjali. Billi jirriflettu d-dinjiet allegoriċi grandjużi ta’ Dante u Bosch, il-figuri monumentali ta’ Said jabitaw f’xenarju msawwar mill-aljenazzjoni, il-fraġilità ekoloġika, l-eċċess teknoloġiku u l-erożjoni tat-tifsira kondiviża. Mibnija minn materjali sempliċi u fraġli, minkejja l-iskala imponenti tagħhom, ix-xogħlijiet jikkontestaw preżunzjonijiet ta’ permanenza, poter u progress. B’installazzjoni mifruxa fuq l-ispazju kollu, l-esebizzjoni toffri vjaġġ immersiv f’dinja sospiża bejn ir-rivelazzjoni u l-kollass u tistieden lill-ispettaturi jirriflettu fuq il-valuri, it-twemmin u l-perspettivi li jsawru d-dinja moderna.

Vanishing Perspectives presents Carmel Said's striking vision of contemporary society at a moment of moral, cultural, and existential uncertainty. Echoing the grand allegorical worlds of Dante and Bosch, Said's monumental figures inhabit a landscape shaped by alienation, ecological fragility, technological excess, and the erosion of shared meaning. Constructed from humble, fragile materials despite their imposing scale, the works challenge assumptions of permanence, power, and progress. Installed throughout the space, the exhibition offers an immersive journey through a world suspended between revelation and collapse, inviting viewers to reflect on the values, beliefs, and perspectives that shape modern life.
